My Taniwha

In Mrs Griffins art class Mereana, Hannah and I created this Taniwha. It comes from rivers and the deep, deep ocean. We used pink for coral and her teeth are made of razor sharp water drops.

Next time I might talk more to my group about design.

My haiku. (High~coo)
I think poetry is super fun, especialy haikus. To write a haiku you need to know what sylables are. A haiku is a three line poem. Here is the patern of a haiku.

Line 1: 5 sylables
Line 2: 7 sylables
Line 3: 5 sylables

When you have time maybe try wrting your own!

My Cinquain poem

8~5~19
Today we were writing ANZAC cinquain poems.
Here is the patteren for a cinquain.
Line 1: 1 word title Title
Line 2: 2 adjectives
Line 3: 3 verbs ending in ING
Line 4: 4 word sentance
Line 5: 1 word to describe the title
One thing I found challenging was thinking of a four word sentance. The fun thing was thinking of difernt words to descibe ANZAC.

Rip Current

This is a DLO project. When creating this poster I was working with my friend. This is a saftey poster on how to avoid a rip or survive one.I made this poster on google drawings. In the future I will practice drawing on a chromebook before I draw. The textbox called get the grip of the rip is a digram of a rip & how to spot one.

Trip to cooks cove

Loading...

Related imageMy trip to Cooks Cove was very tiering half of the yr 6 nieghbourhood of Mangapapa school . It was a very steep climb but the cove is amazing to swim in, but there is no point in bringing googles because under water is green. Next time I might change into my togs before the climb because I had to get chaged in a cave that I had to sit down to fit in😔.
